USA Service Dogs is looking to add to its friendly and helpful phone support staff to our customers who call in from all over the US. We're an e-commerce company that specializes in products that help people with service dogs or emotional support animals, including custom vests, leashes, ID tags, etc. Like most customer service staff, our support staff handles incoming calls from new and existing customers, returns voicemails, and answers emails. However, we expect our agents to also educate people calling in about the various laws related to service and emotional support dogs, as many people simply do not fully understand the confusing layers of regulation that currently exist (don't worry - we will train you in this before you start!).
We're looking for someone with the following characteristics:
+ Excellent English communication skills, both written and oral
+ Patience dealing with customers who may be elderly or have a disability and who have trouble using smartphones and/or computers
+ Experience with Zendesk or similar e-mail support software
+ Basic computer skills to work with our order admin interface, including downloading, resizing, and uploading images
+ Past experience as a customer support agent a strong plus
+ $15/hr plus commission
+ Flexible hours - part-time to start, with possibility to convert to full-time
